What We Support:
Each year we provide approximately $55,000 to our music programs, including:
- Transportation (elementary and junior high tours, travel for high school performing groups to honor festivals)
- Entry fees for competitions and honors ensembles
- Direct support to all elementary, junior high, and high school music programs (choreography, clinicians, supplemental materials)
- $10,000 for District-Wide Curriculum Supplemental Stipend
- Uniform cleaning
- Student awards
Our support significantly reduces the cost of music education for the families in our community!
ICCSD is committed to delivering our high-quality Performance Music programs, so the need for financial support from parents and the community remains. Our goal is to increase our fundraising efforts to expand our support for new music experiences for our students.
How Can I Help?
We raise funds to support our music programs by asking for donations:
- through mailings, fundraisers, at will donations at concerts, via MySchoolBucks (select “Iowa City Music Auxiliary” under School Store Donations tab, or through the ICCSD Foundation website: ICCSD Foundation – Music Auxiliary
- Volunteer at one of our fundraisers
- Become a parent representative – ask your school’s music director for more information
- Become an At-Large member

The Iowa City Music Auxiliary is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The following sponsorship levels will be recognized in concert programs and online.
